The Hearth

A Hearth is where a Sparkz community lives - before any token exists. Identity, backers, boosts, Meme Engine receipts, Farcaster identity, economic config. The culture starts here.

A token is the Hearth’s optional economic output, not its starting point. Most Hearths stay tokenless - that’s a feature, not a limitation.

What’s inside a Hearth

Typecreator / culture / oss / meme - sets the context for ZAO review.
Statusspark → tokenized → dormant. Most stay at spark.
BackersFans and supporters who backed the Hearth with a free boost.
BoostsCommunity boosts - signal and social proof. Anyone can boost.
Meme receiptsProof-of-contribution posts generated by the Meme Engine. On-chain attribution.
Farcaster identityFID + Warpcast handle. Enables SIWE and Warpcast miniapp embedding.
ZAO review statepending / approved / rejected. ZAO reviews every self-serve submission.
Economic configThe 0xSplits split: community % / creator % / treasury %. Default: 1/1/98.

Hearth lifecycle

A creator opens a Hearth. ZAO reviews and approves. First backers appear. Boosts and Meme Engine receipts accumulate. No token.

Tokenized
The creator launches a token on Clanker (optional). Fee allocation activates via 0xSplits. Weekly split update possible. The community now earns from every trade.
💤
Dormant
The community has gone quiet. The Hearth is preserved. The creator can re-spark at any time.

Token is NOT required to advance beyond Spark. Many Hearths stay tokenless and thrive. The community pull determines when (or whether) to tokenize.

Default economics

Every new Hearth starts with the 1/1/98 default: 1% Sparkz treasury (compute upkeep), 1% community pool (backers claim at splits.org), 98% creator distribution wallet (routes through 0xSplits to collaborators). Fully adjustable. Must sum to 100 and pass the extraction test.
